Historia
Look Inside (mira hacia dentro) es un proyecto en solitario de Santiago Clement. Nacido en 2013, no fue hasta 2015, cuando con la ayuda del productor Emilio Mercader, pudo lanzar su primer albúm, “Unreal Life”, grabado en los estudios PKO en Madrid, junto con el ingeniero de sonido Caco Refojo (ganador de 5 Grammys latinos), dando así comienzo a su andadura musical.
"Unreal Life, pudo crearse tras una profunda meditación acerca de quién era realmente, y de la esencia en sí misma, concluyendo al fin, y de ahí el título del álbum, que hasta la fecha, la vida es irreal. Me dí cuenta que habían canciones, cuyas letras no entendí hasta pasado los años, como si fuesen mensajes del futuro, escritos en el pasado. A nivel personal fue muy enriquecedor y enigmático”
En mayo del 2017, Look Inside lanzó “Revive”, su segundo Ep/Album, compuesto Santiago Clement, Raúl Fernández, Antonio José Colomer, Cinthia Leon y Irene Roncero.
El álbum fue grabado en los estudios “El Invernadero” bajo la producción de Brian Hunt.
5 canciones que quizás permitan salir del abismo. La introducción de nuevos teclados, aportó al grupo un toque más indie.
Signs fue el single de presentación. “Habla sobre lo importante y poderoso que es lo que vemos, esas señales entremezcladas con el mundo sensible.”
Tras un par de años, tocando en varias salas emblemáticas de Madrid, todos los miembros del grupo formaron un nuevo grupo llamado Mandira, dejando Look Inside, nuevamente como proyecto en solitario de Santiago.
Tras varios años tocando en otro banda “LI”, con el que sacaron un EP “Cuatro”, y su inicio en el mundo de la producción, Santiago, decidió grabar, como anteriormente hizo con Unreal Life, "Empty Space".
5 canciones compuestas en la época de Revive, pero cuyo proyecto se había paralizado. Santiago, que había empezado a crear un estudio de grabación se decidio a grabarlo, y junto con la ayuda del producto Niels Lingbeel, el Ep fue lanzado en enero del 2021. El EP incluía la canción “Renací, el primer single en castellano de Look Inside.
Tras lanzar un single nuevo "Yo quiero ser yo" hace unos meses, el proyecto continua con el lanzamiento nuevamente en castellano de un nuevo single "Cáscara de Nuez".
La idea es seguir creando canciones en el idioma que surja durante la composición, tanto en inglés como en Español. Ambos idiomas aportan distintas formas de creación y de melodías. Me gustaría a su vez sacar, si surge, algún single en francés aprovechando que es mi segundo idioma materno.
El estilo de Look Inside engloba una amplia gama musical notablemente influenciada por bandas como John Mayer, Alice In Chains, Foo fighters, Michael Jackson, etc...
HISTORY
Look Inside is a solo project by Santiago Clement. Born in 2013, it was not until 2015, when working together with the producer Emilio Mercader, he was able to release his first album. "Unreal Life" was recorded at the PKO studios in Madrid, mixed and mastered by engineer Caco Refojo (winner of 5 Grammys Latinos).
"Unreal Life is my first album. It is a very personal look inside myself, a deep meditation of who I am, and one last conclusion...as per today...unreal life.
I realized there were lyrics whose meaning I did not understand until years later, as if they were messages from the future, written in the past. On a personal level it was very enriching and enigmatic."
In May 2017, Look Inside released “Revive”, their second Ep/Album, composed of Santiago Clement, Raúl Fernández, Antonio José Colomer, Cinthia Leon and Irene Roncero.
The album was recorded at "El Invernadero" studios under the production of Brian Hunt.
5 songs that may allow us to get out of the abyss. The introduction of new keyboards gave the group a little indie touch.
Signs was the presentation single. “It talks about how important and powerful is what we see, those signals that converge with the sensible world.”
After a couple of years, playing in various emblematic venues in Madrid, all the members of the group formed a new group called Mandira, leaving Look Inside, again as Santiago's solo project.
After several years playing in another band "LI", with which they released an EP "Cuatro", and his start in the world of production, Santiago decided to record, as he previously did with Unreal Life, "Empty Space".

After releasing a new single "Yo quiero ser yo" a few months ago, the project continues with the release again in Spanish of a new single "Cáscara de Nuez".
"The idea is to keep on creating of songs in the language that arises during the composition, both in English and in Spanish. Both languages provide different forms of creation and melodies. I would also like to release a single in French soon, if it arises, taking advantage of the fact that it is my second mother tongue."
Look Inside's style encompasses a wide range of music, notably influenced by bands like John Mayer, Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Michael Jackson, etc...
